Arrived in LA on Sunday and within an hour, found myself in front of the B Sweet Dessert Bar - it's not like I have an unhealthy love for all things sugar or anything. Anyway, I tend to be skeptical of dessert spots that are too cute because it sometimes means they are trying to make up for flavor; HOWEVER, this is not the case for B Sweet. Chef Barb makes all of those goodies you loved as a kid, but still crave as an adult like homemade twinkies, eggless cookie dough, red velvet cake, and Oreo cookie cheesecake. We walked away with warm cinnamon rolls and salty caramel bread pudding and despite the fact that we had literally just finished a huge lunch, we licked down every single morsel of the rich, creamy, delectable desserts. Needless to say - we'll be back!

The best food I’ve ever had has always been about way more than what I could taste. The best food has heart and comes from passionate hands that prepare it, from the farmers in the fields to the chefs in the kitchen and we truly experienced that tonight. At @room4dessert_wg the 21 courses were divine, but it’s the conversations and many smiles we shared with the staff that will leave a lasting impression, well after our food comas subside.
